MATHEWS HAS HIT, WALK, RUN SCORED IN 5-1 LOSS TO PORTLAND
Gutierrez, Smith each draw two walks, but Fisher Cats drop third straight

Portland, ME— Aaron Mathews led off the game with a single and later walked and scored on a wild pitch as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats fell to the Portland Sea Dogs, 5-1, Thursday night at Hadlock Field.
Left-hander Kris Johnson (3-1) pitched five shutout innings to notch the victory. Johnson struck out four and walked three to defeat the Fisher Cats for the second time this season.

HELP THE FISHER CATS "STRIKE OUT HUNGER" ON SATURDAY! | 
Citizens Bank and the New Hampshire Food Bank announced a summer-long partnership with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to “Strike Out Hunger” across the state. Throughout the 2008 Fisher Cats baseball season, the Citizens Bank Foundation will donate $50 to the NH Food Bank for each strikeout recorded by a Fisher Cats pitcher during home games.
The New Hampshire Fisher Cats will also host food donation drives at five games. In exchange for one non-perishable food item fans will receive a special “buy one, get one free” Box Seat ticket voucher for that game. The food donation games are as follows:
- Saturday, May 10 at 1:05 pm
- Thursday, June 5 at 7:05 pm
- Wednesday, July 23 at 7:05 pm
- Thursday, August 14 at 7:05 pm

Children ages 7 to 13 are invited to come learn baseball skills from the pros! Camp will run from 9:30am - 12:30pm. Campers will work on a dry-swing routine, batting-tee drills, soft-toss drills, and practice hitting using machines and batting cages. And, campers get to interact with Fisher Cats players!
