This state-of-the-art facility is located along the banks of the Merrimack River. The stadium was designed by HNTB out of Kansas City.  The ballpark opened in April 2005 as Fisher Cats Ballpark.  The facility bacame MerchantsAuto.com Stadium in April of 2006 in a partnership with the Singer Family and Merchants Auto.

In August of 2006, Rock n Roll legend Bob Dylan became the first concert performance at MerchantsAuto.com Stadium.
